About the film "The Sun shines for everyone". Part One
A real work of art always gives people something new. New thoughts, emotions, new information about an unknown area of life. Without such novelty, there is no real creativity. That's what I want to talk about in a small magazine review.
But first about the movie. Spring is on the screen. Well, a well—shot spring - damp paths, steam rising from snowdrifts, clear sky over the city. A blind, handsome young man who suffered in the war is walking along the sidewalk. And there's a tram going nearby. He is led by a nice girl, she loves the blind man, and he loves her, and soon, surely, she will become his wife, his destiny. She rides and gives signals — subtle touching bells that tell him that she is near, that she loves. This is the end of the movie, and a lot happened before that...
The hero of the film was wounded on the last day of the war. A nurse in love with him took the blind man home. His wife met him here. At first, life got better, but then my wife couldn't stand it, she didn't have enough love, understanding, patience — she left. A scoundrel appeared in the city, because of whom the hero suffered in the war. The scoundrel became the headmaster of the school and, fearing exposure, almost kicked the hero out of school, who returned to educating the children.
In addition, the blind teacher was cruelly deceived by a spoiled student. But then everything settled down — the student asked for forgiveness, the scoundrel obviously got what he deserved (this remains unclear in the film), and the nurse — now a train driver — met her love.
This touching story is interestingly told by screenwriter S. Freilich, masterfully directed by K. It was perfectly shot by the writer A. Kuznetsov and, finally, well performed by leading artists. L. Aleshnikova is truthful, sweet in her shyness, beautiful in her sincerity. N. Sergeev is remembered in the role of his father — he is remembered not with words, which are not so much in the script, but more with his silence, his eyes, his actions, behind which lies a great life subtext. V. Zubkov is certainly good. The actor plays accurately, with maximum approximation to the truth of life. It is also worth noting his purely formal skill with which he creates the image of a blind man. His eyes are really blind, attention, emotion, thought, so characteristic of living eyes, will never flash through them.
Everything seems to be fine. But why is it that a film, almost all the components of which are interesting in themselves, does not generally represent a phenomenon in art, even if not large, not large-scale, but still a new and interesting phenomenon?
